Stop complaining about the snow storm and town budget
You're hearing many people complain about how they're tired of
winter already. My feeling is that it is probably many younger people who
apparently don't really know what winter in the Northeast means. The ones who
can justify that statement would be the mail carriers who are trucking through it
daily. The other source of complaint most definitely can come from anyone who
is not so much tired of winter, but tired of the fact that they continually pay
higher and higher taxes and receive no services for these payments. Granted 3-plus feet of snow at a minimum in many areas takes longer to clean, but why is
the budget for cleanup being depleted with only one major storm? I would love
to be able to say, "hey, my money is depleted so I cant pay taxes this
year." See how far that gets me.
