Christians and others should accept that life begins at conception

I would like to address the recent article written by Susan Campbell regarding so-called “Progressive Christians.” She is apparently making up or using the term to try to name those people who are pro-abortion yet seem to think that they can also be considered Christian. This issue is not only one of religion, but of science, just as Paul Ryan mentioned in his debate with Joseph Biden. Barack Obama, when asked “When does life begin?” answered that it was above his pay grade. Apparently the president as well as Susan Campbell must have missed that day in science class when they were taught that life begins at conception. It is a scientific fact, as well as a religious one. Ms. Campbell says that she believes women are capable of making decisions about their own bodies. What she fails to realize is that one is not dealing with just one body, but two. There are in fact two sets of living human DNA, not just the woman’s. The liberals will try to distance themselves from the reality of truth, that there is a living human within them, not a blob of cells as they are frequently referred to. This argument is getting very old and has no merit, at least to those of us who take the time to do their homework. Shawn A. McKenna Milford

It's time this issue does not take a back burner to anything else! Without life, no other right matters. No longer is it the elephant in the room. To remain silent while the taking of innocent human life goes on is a sin.

This issue should not take a back seat to any other issue! - To remain silent when innocent human life is being ended is a sin.
