Connecticut Constitution is crystal clear on guns
The public needs to be aware of a Connecticut resident's right to bear arms under our State Constitution. The lawmakers need to read it before suggesting new laws that might conflict with our State Constitution. It is very clear.
"Every citizen has a right to bear arms in defense of himself and the state."

Mr. Snyder needs to be aware of Connecticut Supreme Court decisions that have ruled on Art. I Sec. 15.
Freedom of speech is regulated - can't libel or slander.
Freedom of assembly is regulated - sometimes need to get a permit.
Freedom of religion is also regulated - can't do illicit drugs even if religion allows.
Freedom to bear arms can also be regulated, and should be !
Then you have to change the state constitution.
Why is it everyone loves the Constitution except when there is a provision that they do not like?
If you don't like the U S Constitution then all you have to do is get 34 states to agree with you. If it is so important to you stop wasting your time here and get the petitions signed.
Believe me when I say your options really don't matter, the people in power will do what ever it takes to get elected.
The Dems have know from day one these laws will never get passed, but they play to people like you.
