Congratulations to the town of North Haven for its outstanding efforts in bringing a state-of-the-art medical services facility to North Haven.
Having a facility with the Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center, interventional immunology center and walk-in care center all under one roof is a terrific accomplishment and will be a tremendous resource for North Haven.
The words of Yale-New Haven’s president speak volumes about the leadership, dedication and abilities of North Haven’s first selectman, Mike Freda: “We couldn’t have chosen a community that was more welcoming and supportive than the town of North Haven … (First Selectman Michael J. Freda’s) unwavering commitment during the planning process, the approval, the bumps in the road — Mike was there every step of the way, and we wouldn’t be here without his leadership and without the town of North Haven supporting us every step of the way.”
