Leaving aside the legal questions, the Gifting Tables reveal either that greed can easily trump simple common sense, or that math skills of folks in our society are really worse than one might have thought.
It doesn’t take calculus to figure out that there are only a finite number of women who can pony up $5,000, and that those who profited could only do so because some poor sucker lower on the chain put up money and got nothing in return.
Taking advantage of the foolishness of others may or may not be legal, but it is certainly immoral.
