Guns should be used only for law enforcement
I accuse the National Rifle Association of aiding and abetting every crime committed with a firearm.
Every congressman (or woman) who fears for their job and is dependent on the NRA may also be included in this accusation. Also, dishonorable mention may be made for the wacko gun owners who use the Second Amendment (written before they were born, in a different world than the one we live in today) as a weak excuse for owning a deadly weapon.
As a former Marine, I fired pistols and rifles. It was fun at the time, but as a civilian there were many other forms of recreation. I believe that firearms should be used only for law enforcement and the military. And hunters can use bows and arrows.

You are a complete moron.
Every right granted by that document was written before our time. How many others would you throw out with the 2nd? As a marine you served for what reason? To protect your country perhaps? What if I want to protect my family? Why do leos need weapons, are they using them on the same people who are right in your face? Why would they need protection from these people but somehow I don't for the 5 to 10 minutes it takes for them to arrive, if you are even able to make the phone call.
And maybe I can do my laundry down by the creek after I mow the field with my scythe. Are you for real?

Norwalk police just arrested an MG gang member with a STEN fully automatic machine gun. What would you have done had he come to your front door; call 911? The real danger that went unaddressed and glossed over is the criminal with a gun; legal or not (most likely not legal as in Norwalk). The Republicans and Democrats that voted yes should be ashamed.
Indeed police and other law enforcement officers should only hold firearms because they are the who is licensed to carry those firearms and to use it. Because of gun ownership crimes in towns are rampant. Government should regulate the issuance of firearms and other ammunition to civilians to avoid using them in crimes and other things that they wanted to use this thing.
