The cost of providing armed guards for schools will be costly, and raise already fixed annual union mandated costs to school budgets. A remedial solution could be in utilizing school custodians in a dual-role as armed school guards, after taking a course in firearm training. In this fashion, schools would virtually “get more bang for the buck.”
